Meet Your Instructor
Sea Advocate Scuba was organized by me, Jay LeFebvre (NAUI Instructor #63301) to present the undersea world to fellow land lovers through knowledge, skill and love of scuba diving. I was first introduced to this captivating world through scuba in 1983 when I was certified an open water diver in Springfield, Massachusetts with my brother and father. I spent the vast majority of my diving in the cold waters of New England, with the occasional foray into the warmer waters of the south. Upon moving to Florida in 2015, I promised myself to never wear any wetsuit greater than 3 millimeters, and then only when absolutely necessary.
Sea Advocate Scuba specializes in custom to you scuba classes from Open Water all the way through Divemaster. Courses are arranged around your timetable, pace and comfort level. By learning to scuba dive with Sea Advocate Scuba you will gain the knowledge and skill to safely and confidently partake, enjoy and explore the underwater world. All at the same time having a fun, enjoyable and stress-free experience.
So, whether you are new to scuba or an old hand looking for a refresher, Sea Advocate Scuba is the place for you.

I’m from Washington State and met Jay on a ‘Live-a-Board” trip in the Bahamas and was buddied up with him for the entire week. I admired his ease and chill underwater. I have since traveled to Florida twice to have a “training vacation” with Sea Advocate Scuba.

I was struggling to find a purpose in life after my career long service in the United States Marine Corps. My brother Marine took great care of me, Semper Fi, Jay!
